It is with great sadness that I report the passing of Congresswoman Julia Carson this morning at the age of 69. She will be missed, as her life and her service touched the lives and hearts of countless people here in Indiana and across the country. Julia was a true and uncompromising progressive. She was a friend and an inspiration to a lot of us, so I hope this will be a place for people to share their feelings in this time of grief.
