What we learned at the annual IDEA convention in French Lick last weekend is that the Obama campaign and the Indiana Democratic party are putting together an amazing state wide boots on the ground campaign.

Never before have I seen a national campaign so well organized and so committed to Indiana and all the Democrats and Progressives running throughout the state.

And the reason the Obama folks mentioned that they decided to put so many resources into Indiana is the level activism they saw at the grassroots level.

I believe what they saw was in no small part the activism, hard work and enthusiasm of all us who are part of Indiana Progressives and all of the progressive organizations we work with such as DFA, Indiana Equality and HCHP.

Let's not stop now. Volunteer for a campaign and make sure we win from top to bottom across the state. No more red state or even purple state, just Indiana solid Blue through and through!
